West African Examination Council (WAEC) 2023 result is out

On Monday, the West African Examination Council announced the release of the 2023 WAEC result.
A total of 1,613,733 candidates sat for the 2023 examination, Patrick Areghan, Head of Nigeria's Office (HNO) of WAEC, stated that 262,803 candidates' results are being withheld "due to reports of cases of examination malpractice.",
A total of 1,361,608 candidates, or 84.38 percent, received credit or above in a minimum of five courses, with or without English Language or Mathematics, he claimed, showing an improvement in the pass rate.
Additionally, 1,287,920 candidates—or 79.81 percent of all applicants—got credits in at least five disciplines, including English Language and Mathematics.
