Pele, a football superstar who is widely recognised as one of the all-time greatest players, passed away at the age of 82. Pele, who is undergoing treatment for colon cancer, was checked into a hospital in Sao Paulo earlier this month after developing a respiratory infection during a bout with Covid-19. The Brazilian soccer player who shared the title of most well-known and recognisable athlete in the world with Muhammad Ali passed away on December 29 at a hospital in Sao Paulo. On Thursday night, his agent Joe Fraga announced his passing.
