Fire guts Anambra market and obliterates stores.

Fire destroyed some shops at the Ogbo Osisi Timber Market Bridgehead in Onitsha, Anambra State. The cause of the fire has not been determined, but it is believed to have started late Saturday evening. The Anambra State fire chief, Martin Agbili, confirmed the incident in a statement, saying that men from the state fire service had been deployed to the fire scene.
