Super sub Aribo inspires remarkable comeback with First LP goal.

Southampton narrowly avoided defeat in the Premier League on Saturday thanks in large part to the Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo, who made his home debut for Southampton. The midfielder was signed by the Saints this summer on a four-year deal for an undisclosed sum, keeping him at the St. Mary Stadium through 2026. Prior to the introduction of Aribo, Southampton was down 2-0. His goal kicked off the comeback, which was eventually completed late in the second half. Leeds had a two-goal advantage thanks to a Rodrigo-inspired goal before the home team fought back to earn a point in the final seconds of the game. Aribo was substituted by manager Ralph after he came off the bench to give the Saints hope with his first Premier League of the season.
