Following the demise of his wife, Bimbo, IVD has been arrested.

Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD, a well known vehicle dealer, has been detained. SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, announced his transfer to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Yaba in a tweet this evening. Ikechukwu Ogbonna, 37, also known as IVD, has been detained and brought to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, in contrast to assertions made by relatives and friends that he is on the run. Following years of alleged domestic violence, IVD has been charged with involvement in the death of his wife, Bimbo.
