In Bauchi state, the APC has suffered a significant loss as hundreds of members have switched to the PDP in preparation for the general elections of 2023. Their leaders stated at the ceremony held to welcome the new members that they joined the PDP in order to support Governor Bala Mohammed reelection. The newly elected PDP members also discussed the governor of Bauchi state accomplishments during his fairly short first term.
