FG in Discussions With Binance to Create a Digital City for Nigerian Blockchain Technology Advancement

A deal between the federal government and Binance to create a digital city is about to be finalized. The government of the digital city is of the opinion that we can serve Nigerians by utilizing the potential of blockchain technology. The FG wants to promote five areas where blockchain technology may help the Nigerian economy. The creation of a digital economic zone to support businesses in accelerating the use of blockchain technology is being discussed by the federal government and cryptocurrency exchange Binance Holdings Ltd. The alliance intends to create a digital hub like the Dubai virtual free zone according to a statement from the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority.
