Emirate airline has announced resumption of its flight operation to Lagos .

Emirates Airlines has announced that it would resume operating flights to Lagos. Flights would resume on September 11 2022 the airline said. Emirates Airlines had already indicated that as of September 1 this year all flights to Nigeria would be canceled. Due to its inability to return its stuck ticket sales fund from the West African nation to its home country, the United Arab Emirates, the airline is considering suspending flights to Nigeria (UAE). Remember that the Federal government last week issued $265 million to international airlines operating in the nation to refund unpaid ticket sales that had prompted the carrier to declare the suspension of its flights The flights have resumed according to a text message that was distributed. We are happy to let you know that effective from 11th September 2022, we will reinstate operations of our flights. Inbound flights from Dubai to Lagos (EK783) and outbound flights from Lagos to Dubai (EK784) will recommence from Sunday 11th September 2022. Lagos flights after 30th September 2022 will be advised in due course.
