Making Edo people wealthy is what we do, says Obaseki.
The governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has stated that it is the duty of the state government to make the people of Edo wealthy, stressing that doing so is related to the development of cities around the state. In a conversation with reporters in Benin City, the state capital, Governor Obaseki made this statement. I urge more people to make investments in Edo State, he remarked. As a government, we'll do everything we can to help entrepreneurs in the state take less risk. We'll keep offering the security, electricity, and infrastructure needed for investors to prosper. "As a result of our developmental achievements and the favourable business environment established in Edo State, there is currently enough traffic in the state. We have a unique advantage in that we are connected to other sections of the country and strategically positioned, and we are making good use of this to expand and strengthen our economy. "As a government, it is our duty to make our people wealthy," he continued. Being wealthy is not a bad thing, but we need to change the way we think about it. More developed cities correspond to affluent populations. As a government, we want to see all of our citizens become extremely wealthy, he continued.
