When current Everton head coach Frank Lampard hired the 26 year old Nigerian and turned him into a center midfielder, the player's performance improved after he arrived. The former Arsenal player current contract expires in just 18 months, so Everton supporters will be happy to see him sign a new one. Iwobi new contract is a three and a half year pact, which will keep him in Merseyside through 2026.
