Abdulrasheed Bawa, the head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), is in big danger. This time, the Federal Capital Territory High Court decided that the EFCC chief should be imprisoned in Kuje for contempt of court. Justice Chizoba Oji ruled on Tuesday that because Bawa and his organization disobeyed the court prior order, he should be imprisoned until the head of the EFCC takes the appropriate action. According to The Nation, a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Maitama found Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa guilty of contempt of court for his organization inability to follow a previous judgment. Justice Chizoba Oji, in a ruling, held that the Chairman Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is in contempt of the orders of this honorable court made on November 21st, 2018 directing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abuja to return to the applicant his Range Rover (Supercharge) and the sum of N40, 000,000.00 (Forty Million Naira).
