Bishop Josef Bassey the founder and general overseer of God Heritage Centre in Calabar Cross River State has responded to criticism following his second marriage to a woman known only as Oma Etta. Many people were shocked when pictures from the formal wedding with Etta the pastor ex wife whom he married in 1997 and had two children with surfaced online. According to unreliable rumors spreading on social media Grace dumped him because of supposed infidelity. Bishop Josef Bassey a well known clergyman in Calabar responds to criticism over his second marriage by claiming that his first wife left him in 2016 However in a statement on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, the church secretary Barr Melody Irem referred to the reports as malicious and a display of crude behavior.
